Welcome to the official website of Mr. Saleem Ashraf Jehangir, also known as Saleem Jehangir

This website is dedicated to Mr. Saleem Jehangir for his services to the people of Pakistan. Also to bring all his tremendous work to the public and recognition of his services for Pakistan in the field of Sports and Martial Arts.

Mr. Saleem Jehangir who is pioneer of Tae Kwon Do (Korean Martial Art) in Pakistan and has the privilege of founding Tae Kwon Do School in Karachi at the National Sports Training & Coaching Center (NSTCC) in Oct 1971 and The Taekwondo-Karate Association of Pakistan in 1971. Mr. Jehangir was born in Jaipur (India) in 1946 and completed his early and basic education from Punjab and Karachi. He then left for the USA for higher studies and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in 1968 and went on to complete his Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Mr. Saleem Jehangir studied Tae Kwon Do under Grand Master Hwa Chong at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) from 1965 thru 1981, and taught the same at the University of Michigan and NSTCC Karachi.
